Artist: Giacomo Rizzo (b. 1977, Palermo) teaches Sculpture and Techniques of Fundry at Accademia di Belle Arti in Palermo. A good number of his works consists of installations dialoguing with architecture or the environment. His works are present in several museums and collections.
In his career, Rizzo realized several monuments and public artworks, among which: Respiro (2016), Museo Regionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Palermo (Palazzo Riso); 2016 Matermania, Villa Lysis Capri (NA), Matronato Museo Madre, Fondazione Donnaregina for contemporary arts; Itaca (2016), monument at IAMC CNR- UOS, Osservatorio della biodiversità marina, Capo Granitola,Trapani; Input (2013), sculpture, Museo Stanza della seta, Ficarra, Messina.
