Artist: Lady Jday is a young and promising French street artist, strongly influenced by feminism and women struggling. More than a simple guidance, engagement and fighting are fully part of her work. She is deeply involved in women’s rights movement, and her artworks depict strong women in all senses, whether they are victims suffering from oppression or standing up for their rights. Lady Jday chooses to portray her figures with punchy and bright colors: Explosive reds evoking desire, extreme shades of pink, and showy blue shadings and shiny yellow create amazing compositions. In contrast to these bright colors, she often adds a touch of much darker shades, as a nod to the daily struggle of many women worldwide. Lady Jday lives and works in BK, NY.
